It's wonderful to see a revolving-spool blogsite; obviously, you're very knowledgable. I took my largest striped bass (so far) in the early '80's on a Penn 930 with the level-wind removed. A small reel for a 55# fish. I look forward to seeing and reading more. Thank you...
